A practical Token Plan setup has three phases: subscribe, get the dedicated key, and configure a supported tool with the matching endpoint.

Practical steps
- 01Buy or confirm the Token Plan package.
- 02Copy the dedicated API key from the Token Plan page.
- 03Choose the target tool.
- 04Paste the key and endpoint into that tool.
- 05Add a supported model.
- 06Run a test prompt and check quota usage.
Support handoff
When ModelSmarter delivers setup, the customer should receive a small handoff note with tool name, model name, endpoint, key owner, quota reset date, and where to check usage.
Common mistakes
Check these before escalating
- The key in the normal Model Studio key page is not the Token Plan key.
- Some tools need a restart after configuration.
- Do not expose the key in screenshots.
